Author Connections…

We all love connecting, that’s what has made social media easy to sustain and to forever beam creative lights in some format. This will continue to enrich our knowledge base within our personal and business life for years to come.

What I have joyfully found recently is the ability to source recommendations for future books for my library.

I relish a creative read full of quality and thought provoking content. Many others do and by the virtue of connecting with like minded souls on say twitter, inevitably there is likely to be synergy in your quest for knowledge or fun reads (by the way, why have LinkedIn taken away their reading list?)

We have our favourite authors, topics, genres and online shopping has made it even easier to connect, buy and ship the books within minutes, love it!

It’s the consequence of asking questions within social media relating to creative reads that have engineered connections with the authors themselves. Whether be local, in my case Bristol, or further a field like our friends in America, I just love connecting with authors personally and of course it’s great way for them to stay in touch with their readers, fans etc

What has been the best book recommendation given to you already this year?

Bringing you the latest in not only my personal journal into the world of disability Bodybuilding, but a discovery into latest events, profiles, news and promoting awareness of this great sport Based in Bristol in the UK, I’ve been competing in Disability Bodybuilding for the last 3 years in a journey which has taken me all over the country to national, international & world championships and I am so so grateful for that opportunity that had changed my life. Living with Cerebal Palsy has its challenges, but everyone has their individual hurdles to negotiate. Gaining strength both physically & mentally and adapting to the surrounding is all part of this journey. This is a mission to raise awareness, to promote our great category to develop opportunities for others. Please get in touch if you’d like to discuss more!
